A Journey Through Four Key Markets

HANM recently embarked on a strategic tour across Europe, exploring opportunities and strengthening business ties in four key markets: Hungary, Germany, Sweden, and Spain.

Hungary: A Growing Hub for Chinese Investment

As an EU member, Hungary has become a vital hub for Chinese investment, significantly accelerating its economic modernization. From large-scale infrastructure projects to the booming automotive sector, Chinese contributions are transforming Hungary’s economy. Notably, companies like BYD have set up operations, upgrading the local supply chain and promoting green mobility.

Budapest, where HANM’s Hungarian office is located, serves as a vibrant center of Sino-Hungarian economic cooperation. The city's bustling Chinatown adds a cultural dimension to this partnership, reflecting the growing Chinese presence in Hungary.

Germany: Precision in Logistics and Client Engagement

In Germany, HANM focused on strengthening supply chain management and deepening client relationships. Upon arrival in Hannover, the team, led by German branch manager Yang Ying, conducted a comprehensive inventory check to ensure precision in logistics. Later, in Münster, productive discussions with clients centered on project updates, cooperation strategies, and future goals, further solidifying trust and partnership.

The journey then took the team to Berlin before departing for Sweden, with high-speed rail serving as an efficient mode of transport between cities.

Sweden: Innovation and Partnership with Volvo

Sweden, home to the iconic Volvo, represented a key stop on this journey. HANM’s visit to Volvo’s Gothenburg facility highlighted the strong partnership between the two companies. The integrated production ecosystem, from passenger cars to trucks, exemplifies Volvo’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The visit also included an insightful tour of the Volvo Museum, where the history and future of automotive engineering were on display. HANM's engagement with its domestic team here reflected the company's focus on employee well-being, as many staff members shared their experiences of adapting to life in Sweden.

Spain: Engineering Excellence at Volkswagen

In Spain, Operations Director Benson continued the tour, first stopping in Barcelona, known for its architectural beauty and vibrant culture. He then traveled to Pamplona, home to Volkswagen’s cutting-edge manufacturing facility. The seamless production lines and the blend of German engineering and Spanish craftsmanship were key highlights.

Benson concluded his journey with a commemorative photo alongside Michael, head of HANM’s Hungarian branch, celebrating the success of HANM’s European expansion tour.

Conclusion: Strengthening Global Ties

This European tour has not only expanded HANM’s presence in critical markets but also reinforced its commitment to innovation, precision, and global cooperation. By building stronger relationships with partners like Volvo and Volkswagen, HANM is positioning itself at the forefront of the global automotive and infrastructure sectors.
